As far as ramen goes, Hakata Gensuke set a very high standard for Tonkotsu Ramen.

The mention of the name 'Old Chang Kee' always took me back to the image of their yellow stalls and piping hot curry puffs.

This is a restaurant that I've visited since my high school days so it was good to see that a lot of people still love it.

The Noodle Combo is definitely worth a try and if you go there just remember to also order the fried chicken. At Noodle Combo you can also choose your type of broth, the home-made noodle that you want and toppings.

There are some restaurants that I am always keen to go back to and Manise is one of them. I've been eating various different meals at Manise since I was in high school and throughout university.

Noodle Forum creates their own noodle daily and only uses fresh local produce from the Exmouth prawns, WA grown spinach and even down to the flour for the noodle.

Bento Bomb is a small restaurant near the Cockburn Train Station. When I first visited this place I was blown away by how they cooked their rice perfectly (ikr...)! The simplicity in cooking the perfect rice really translates well into the rest of their dishes which were always so enjoyable to eat.

After their success in Fremantle Markets, the JRM Partners Pty Ltd finally opened another Chimek shop at Northbridge. 

Clara and Ignacio started their love affair for food back in London and they strive to make the best gourmet sandwich at the best price in WA.

I absolutely love Wonder Dawg & Co price point of their premium hot dog and will tag this food under delicious #cheapeats! 

The hot Jungle Curry is a must try if you're into spicy food!

For the city workers, Kenko lunch special costs $10 for the rice dishes and $12 for the noodle dishes. I think that night I only tried a tiny portion of what Kenko offered and as I’m writing this review, I know that I’m keen to go back to Kenko for other dishes!

NeNe Chicken is currently applying for liquor licence and they're hoping to extend the trading hours past midnight so we all can have a fried chicken coma (yay!)

The three meats dishes were really tasty and I'd go back for the same dish but there are a lot of other things to try from the menu at the Little Grill Vietnamese Cafe. We will definitely bring our empty tummies more often in the future.

Pearl was a good Vietnamese restaurant to have around the south of the river area and it is best to book your seat in advance as we saw a good flow of people coming into the restaurant during a normal weeknight. Their beefy Pho Dac Biet is a must try!
