Monte Fiore, Beaufort Street (Invited)
If a restaurant has been standing for as long as 22 years, they must have done the right thing by their customers. Monte Fiore underwent many changes in the past two years, starting from the decoration until the most important thing that a restaurant always focus on: the food.
Sauma, Northbridge
We enjoyed our time at Sauma and it was quite a relaxing dinner for us. We like the interior at Sauma, the space between each table and the friendliness of the staff. Sauma also offers express tiffin in dabbas which sounds quite interesting.
Spotted: Noodle Markets Mafia
The Big 4 came all the way from Sydney and Melbourne so we checked out the awesome food offerings that they had for the Perth's Night Noodle Markets.
Pepper Lunch Barrack St, Perth CBD
Pepper Lunch Barrack St was the first Pepper Lunch that opened in WA. Given the extensive menu, I'm sure there's always something for everyone to try.
Northbridge Brewing Company: Celebrating All Things Pig (Invited)
We were invited to celebrate all things pig in a special limited edition menu that NBC created, called The Butcher & The Chef. WA raised pork was transformed into a range of delicious dishes with different cuts.
The Globe Perth, 140 William (Invited)
With a majority of gluten free items in the menu, the shared dishes at the Globe Eatery will be able to offer a lot of deliciousness that everyone can enjoy. The style, the setting, the food and enthusiastic service all band together really well at the Globe Perth.
Morning Dim Sum at Ping Pang Pong
Ping Pang Pong excels in their dumplings especially through their very juicy XLB (Xiao Long Bao). The dumpling skin has perfect and it was very easy to pick it up using chopsticks. Their other dim sum offerings were really delicious too, definitely worth a try.
Wok Street Chow's Yum Yum Loves to Eat
It was a right decision to celebrate the Valentine's Day at Wok St Chow House especially with their Yum Yum Loves to Eat 6 course menu. If you're in the area and like good Thai food, give Wok St Chow House a go!
Chinese New Year at Dainty Dowager (Invited)
We had a very enjoyable Chinese New Year celebration at Daintys, surrounded with good companion and feasting on delicious food from their CNY Banquet menu.
Kenko Home Cuisine, Northbridge
For the city workers, Kenko lunch special costs $10 for the rice dishes and $12 for the noodle dishes. I think that night I only tried a tiny portion of what Kenko offered and as I’m writing this review, I know that I’m keen to go back to Kenko for other dishes!
YELP's Botanical Balcony Party
Check out some photos of vendors that we found at the cool Yelp's Botanical Balcony Party. What a great party to start the year off!
The Flour Factory Perth
I think the amount of time that you visit a restaurant can be a testimony of how much you really like it, just like how we visited The Flour Factory (TFF) twice within the span of one month. TFF is a fantastic option to enjoy great food with a wide selection of drinks on offer, with great ambience fitting for a fun night out.
Checking Out Pete Evan's Dinner Menu at Heirloom
Chef Pete Evans curated a special menu for The Heirloom which offered diners healthy fresh produce and delicious food, while at the same time giving the food the presentation it deserved. Sometimes though, there were days where the chef just wanted to create something a bit naughtier than usual such as the yummy chocolate dessert that we had.
Chapas Kitchen & Bar, Beaufort St
What was supposed to be a small dinner became quite a big dinner for us and we had a good catch up at Chapas. I am excited to see the full menu as well as the tea degustation that will take place in a month or two.
Birak Season at the Wildflower Perth
My first experience dining in at the Wildflower was really excellent. I could taste the quality of fresh produce in each bite and I couldn't wait to see what they will have in store for the next Nyoongar season!
Lot Twenty: A Lesson in Oysters & Whisky (Invited)
A group of female bloggers were invited to Lot Twenty’s Oysters and Whisky for a special night that was arranged by Grace McGurk. There we learnt a lot about oysters from the King of Oyster Shucker himself, Jerry Fraser and Bill Bewsher, who introduced us to the spectrum of single malt whiskies.
