Odyssea New Spring Menu (Invited)
Odyssea really ticked everything that I liked about the restaurant: great service, great food, great atmosphere and great food presentation (as a bonus ;-)). Due to the view, the restaurant itself really works for both casual and fancy dinner.
Prego, Floreat (Invited)
At the end of the night I ran out of vocabulary to explain that the food was very delicious especially coupled with great hospitality from the staff at Prego.
Tomahawk at Brotzeit Joondalup (Invited)
We went to Brotzeit Joondalup to experience the deliciousness of gargantuan Tomahawk Steak, slow cooked with 12 different herbs and spices. This steak was roasted to medium rare while retaining its juiciness and tenderness.
High Tea at Bites by D
At $55 per person we had a mixed feeling when we booked in our high-tea but the result didn't disappoint at all!
XO Tea: The Art of Drinking Tea
XO Tea's tea tasting really opened up my eyes to the beautiful world of hand picked tea leaves, the texture and intricacy of the oxidation process. I hope this write up will help you understand more about tea.
Chinese New Year at Dainty Dowager (Invited)
We had a very enjoyable Chinese New Year celebration at Daintys, surrounded with good companion and feasting on delicious food from their CNY Banquet menu.
The Flour Factory Perth
I think the amount of time that you visit a restaurant can be a testimony of how much you really like it, just like how we visited The Flour Factory (TFF) twice within the span of one month. TFF is a fantastic option to enjoy great food with a wide selection of drinks on offer, with great ambience fitting for a fun night out.
Checking Out Pete Evan's Dinner Menu at Heirloom
Chef Pete Evans curated a special menu for The Heirloom which offered diners healthy fresh produce and delicious food, while at the same time giving the food the presentation it deserved. Sometimes though, there were days where the chef just wanted to create something a bit naughtier than usual such as the yummy chocolate dessert that we had.
Birak Season at the Wildflower Perth
My first experience dining in at the Wildflower was really excellent. I could taste the quality of fresh produce in each bite and I couldn't wait to see what they will have in store for the next Nyoongar season!
A Feast at Miss Chow's, Claremont Quarter (Invited)
If you’ve been to Apple Daily then you will remember the taste of their food especially their roast duck bun. Thus the over-excitement when we got the invitation to visit Miss Chow’s and try some food from their menu, especially when the menu was created by the former head chef of Apple Daily, Andrew J. Moore
Breakfast at Mister Walker, South Perth
Mister Walker was a new addition to the Mill Point area and situated at the Mends St Jetty. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner for 7 days a week and open their doors at 8AM in the morning.
The Petition Kitchen at the Cathedral Square
It must be an amazing feeling for Adrian Fini from FJM Property to see his dream became a reality with the opening of the Petition on the 1st of October. The Petition is the first food scene at the State Buildings with separate sections for the wine bar, beer hall and restaurant which goes by the name Petition Kitchen.
The Cornerstone Alehouse (Invited)
We felt that it could be more than just a local pub. If anything, the Cornerstone Alehouse restaurant was very fitting for a fancy dining or date night especially with its realistic prices, pleasant space, and accommodating staff.
Hayashi Japanese Restaurant, Melville
The new Hayashi was surprisingly good, especially when the "Superior Beef Tenderloin" is in the menu.
Yuki Japanese Restaurant, Willeton
The last time I visited Yuki was years ago so I decided to go back and see whether they still have the same good quality food as before.
Birthday Dinner: Tsunami Review
I remembered Tsunami as an expensive restaurant during my university time, fortunately this time we scored a free birthday treat.
