North Lake BBQ (Invited)
North Lake BBQ is a very family oriented restaurant with huge round table consuming majority of space inside the restaurant. Due to the proximity of my workplace, I frequent this restaurant since a year ago and get to know the owner, Kitty.
Lago di Como (Invited)
To sum up this review in one sentence: the food there was amazing, service was superb and price was certainly on point. I wish all the best for Alberto and the rest of his team, I'd love to hear more buzz about this place!
Breakfast at The Left Bank (Invited)
The Left Bank can't be categorised as a "new & hip" restaurant but as Freo's longest running riverside pub they serve delicious breakfast under $20, in a casual setting that can be enjoyed by anyone.
Dinner at Pearl Restaurant, Riseley St
Pearl was a good Vietnamese restaurant to have around the south of the river area and it is best to book your seat in advance as we saw a good flow of people coming into the restaurant during a normal weeknight. Their beefy Pho Dac Biet is a must try!
Missy Moos Burgers at Fremantle
With the competitive burger scene in Perth, customers know what a good burger taste like. I think there are other places who serve better burgers and at a better price. Fortunately this time we were able to use our voucher and paid less compared to what they usually charged. With that being said, it’s still good to know that there’s a decent burger place around this particular area of Fremantle.
RiceField by Homecooked at Cockburn Central
Our favourite dish was the sambal prawn and it was amazing how most recipes was received from the lady boss (Amy)'s husband's family lineage up to the husband's grandmother. This has allowed each dish to have a very personal history.
Breakfast at Mister Walker, South Perth
Mister Walker was a new addition to the Mill Point area and situated at the Mends St Jetty. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner for 7 days a week and open their doors at 8AM in the morning.
Rice Noodle House, Shelley
Many years ago this restaurant earned itself a title of the best chicken rice and was well known as the 'Marjorie's Chicken Rice' among university students. We tried out their Hainan Chicken Rice out of curiousity.
Wii's Thai Cafe, Baldivis
Finding a local good restaurant felt like finding a $20 note from some jeans that just came out of the washing. It was very exciting especially since Wii’s Thai was only about a 5 minutes’ drive from home.
Blinco Street Cafe, Fremantle
Blinco Cafe lends itself to playfulness and being laid back too with a plush toy of Homer Simpson sitting at one of the tables. There are colourful cushions, paintings on display and music ranging from upbeat jazz, Gregorian chant to the relaxing sounds of Enya. It's hard to describe but this place is playful, colourful, charming and chilled all in one package.
Kitchen Inn Kardinya
Kitchen Inn is definitely a good place if you’re looking for some East Malaysian food and each dish comes with a good price point.
BWG Steakhouse, Applecross
All of us had a very enjoyable evening and it was money well spent on a foolproof steak, especially the 400+ grain-fed medium rare wagyu beef!
Vino Rosso Italian Restaurant (Closed)
Dinner at Vino Rosso was a pleasant experience especially when fronted with Chef Boby who has 13 years of professional experience in the kitchen.
Sundays Everyday
Besides serving as a reminder of a good uni times, Sundays Everyday is definitely a Japanese restaurant that I will dine in regularly.
The Good Old Boy Cafe
The Old Boy lived up to the name by providing warmth to the customers and heart-warming old school jaffles.
My First Time at Grouch & Co Micro Roaster
It was interesting to see how the ensured quality and perfection in every sip of coffee that I drink.
