For people who live North of the River (NOR), D's Authentic Bites is a perfect option for great Japanese food. For those who live elsewhere, I'd consider that you make a trip there at least once to try the food. We weren't disappointed at all.

Pepper Lunch Victoria Park is the only Pepper Lunch with the soft serve machine and they served a really yummy Super Sundaes with Black Sesame syrup!

Pepper Lunch Barrack St was the first Pepper Lunch that opened in WA. Given the extensive menu, I'm sure there's always something for everyone to try. 

Decorated with industrial lighting and neon signs, Pepper Lunch at Beaux Lane was very spacious and airy compared to the other two restaurants. I think the Vegetarian Menu might work with the locals too ;-)

With the premium sushi offering, the minimalistic Modern Eatery offers a really decent price with exceptional flavours particularly when each ingredient in the sushi marry together really well.

Besides serving as a reminder of a good uni times, Sundays Everyday is definitely a Japanese restaurant that I will dine in regularly.

The new Hayashi was surprisingly good, especially when the "Superior Beef Tenderloin" is in the menu.

After missing in action for around 6 months or so, JBento is back to the food scene with their new premise at Mt Pleasant.

The last time I visited Yuki was years ago so I decided to go back and see whether they still have the same good quality food as before.

I remembered Tsunami as an expensive restaurant during my university time, fortunately this time we scored a free birthday treat.
