Alabama Hotel Hobart

I chose Alabama Hotel for my last accommodation in Tasmania. It's a quirky hotel with some vintage decoration. Alabama Hotel is located so close to Woolworths, where I bought my snack supplies from.

I parked my car at the Argyle Street Carpark which was about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. As I walked up the stairs at the hotel, I could see some hanging flamingos and a cafe. The reception desk was located inside the cafe area. Alamaba Hotel also has a balcony with some tables and chairs to hang out at.

I was given a handmade soap and a towel, enough amenities for my two days stay. They also prepare free water at the corridor that I could bring to my room. The room was really cozy with a heater, fan, and a working desk.

One of the most important things for me is the number of power points that a hotel room has. I comfortably charged my power bank, camera and phone at the same time! I was incredibly grateful for electricity and free Wi-Fi that they provided.

The shared bathroom was spotless and most of the time I didn't have to share it with other people. Mind you, it was an off-peak season when I was there. If you're looking for things to do around Hobart, Alabama Hotel compiled a cool list that can help you form your itinerary as well.

Alabama Hotel is an excellent place for staycation around Hobart area and provided a comfortable stay for a budget hotel. It's one of people's favourite places to stay when there's music or food festival in Tasmania. Just make sure to book in advance to secure your spot.
